I stumbled across this little html game about a mom trying to get her family to play World of Warcraft with her. It's silly and a little sad, and I'm sure at least some of us can relate to it :)

That's hilarious!
I kind of feel sorry for the mom lol. And your right I kind of can relate a little. I started playing mmo's because I wanted to do some thing with my son. MMO's were at the top of his list. So I invested in a couple of computers and stepped into the wild world of mmo's. I figured my daughter as well would like to play with us. Oddly enough she wasn't interested in mmo's. Play Station was her thing. As the years past by she found a couple of free to play mmo's but still to this day she is not remotely interested in any of the mmo's that me and my son tend to play together. I still do a lot of other things with the both of them. Drive-ins, disc golf, going out to dinner ect ect but as far as online gaming together she has zero interest in playing with me or her brother. I've suggested a different venue of mmo's and still a "no thank you". I offered to try her mmo and still she was like "Um, nah I don't think you would like it" lol. Oh well. I still drop the hints now and then to her like," You know... I don't mind buying you a copy of GW2. If you would like to just try it?" and she always comes back with a " Nah thats ok. Not really interested in GW2" in a very polite way.
Oh yes I can relate lol. My 5 children are grown and the only one that games (and rarely) plays on xbox. One daughter tried WOW for a couple of weeks a few years ago and liked it but doesn't have time.
How sad and how smart she was. This would really make them see how she is feeling.. Pretty good idea!
Haha this game is hilarious. I don't have to relate though cause my husband already games with me. We've even played WOW too.
That made me laugh a lot because she sounds just like me! I have been trying to get my husband and daughter to play different mmo's with me for years. After much persuasion I managed to get both of them to try GW1 once, but my husband never logged in a second time, and my daughter played only twice. They both play single player games a lot. However, my son does play and we have had a lot of fun in GW1, AION, Rift, SW:TOR, TSW and now GW2. This year he moved away to university, which was a real wrench for me and I am struggling with the 'empty nest' syndrome atm. So now it is even more important because it is a great way for us to stay connected, have fun together and have something in common to chat about.
Desidaria showed it to me last night, and I thought it was pretty funny. First playthrough I walked out on the husband.. till I realized the computer was back in the house. LOL!
