I have not posted in a long time,, but I have been praying for you since the beginning! You hang in there, =) you will beat this, Like GmaFog says, increase your protein, increase the amount of alkaline foods, cancer can not survive in an alkaline environment! I am struggling as well! I have been to an amazing Naturopath, and she is working miracles. I also have an autoimmune disease, which has been a PITA! lol. Drinking 9.5 alkaline water, and distilled water, increasing veggies, decreasing animal protein, pretty gluten free. Its working, but going to take awhile!
Sometimes, I think, why am I killing myself changing my diet, etc, I just want to lay down and go to sleep, but then I just tell myself, get your butt up and do it!! you got grandkids and friends and pets to take care of. I try to keep busy even when I feel like crapola. I volunteer at a dog kennel, which I totally love, I take my therapy dog to nursing home and assisted living centers to make others smile, which makes me smile! I do my best to exercise, Jazun my hubby, made it easy, when we built our home he built a gym, so we don't have to leave the house to do some exercising, sometimes I just dance, LOL. I do some yoga, and P90x, I might last 10 min, or an hour, depends, but I do try!
One of my friends here, her husband had, and I say HAD stage 4 prostate cancer, she never gave up on him and pushed him to not give up, he has been through hell and back, but has been cancer free for over a year now! we are so excited about their future, they are expecting their 1st grandchild in the Spring!!! So blessed!
Like a friend of mine said once, "put on your big girl panties and kick ass" LOL You can beat this, and I hope sometime we can play together someplace with this awesome family!!!!
Congrats to ALL those who are or have fought a disease, you are all HEROS in my book!!!
I surely miss my Gaiscioch family!!!
