((Now that I feel like I got my character Crollin Drumanod figured out more and the flow of Nash's campaign, I am going to attempt to write Crollin's point of view much like I do with Faraios for Khyote's. I think my desire to do this is more to try to show some of the crazy and hilarious fun we wind up in and how the roleplay goes. Okay, I know I miss things, but again it is from my character's point of view, let alone my memory besides general notes.))
Crollin made his way through Korsova for the first time in eight years. For some reason he stopped to check something in his saddlebags and found a Harrow card with a note on the back. He arched a brow at the note about Graedon and knowing what he had done. Only thing he could think of was Graedon being associated to his Shiver addiction. He decided to try to find the address given.
It was well after sunset, the time in the note, by the time he found it. The fortune teller told him where he would be able to find Graedon's current lair along with others who had been wronged by Graedon. He still had not decided how to feel about all this as he approached the old warehouse to find a crew of people already taking down those inside.
Several little lambs were dead or sleeping with some of them bound already. He pretty much ignored those in this first room and headed for a closed door with fighting sounds behind it. He flung the door open to find quite the ruckus going on here. One gnome and a few little lambs faced off against a burly female half-orc and some dwarves. Not exactly what he expected, but he appreciated that the crew was working to get the little lambs to quit fighting. Two even turned on the gnome in the room as Crollin assessed that going for the gnome would be the best option.
This fight ended within moments of his entering with them managing to take the gnome alive. He was tied up and stripped of his weapons and armor. The gnome spilled his guts that Graedon could be found on the lower dock behind the building.
Crollin had no idea the layout of the place, but followed the others around back on a rickety dock, more of a walkway than anything, to an old boat. One of the dwarves stepped onto the boat and immediately fell through the flooring. He did not hurt himself bad, but immediately started shouting about large spiders. Crollin, when he was able to get up to the boat safely along the narrow walkway, decided to chance just jumping down by the dwarf. He made it with a bit of a twinge to one leg and he might have managed to help squish a spider in the process.
By the time everyone managed to get to the lower deck of the ship, the spiders were dead and someone had found a doorway built into the wall. Upon opening it they found the lower docks that appeared barely more stable than the walkway above and the ship. At least, they went under the building and had some protection from the elements other than the waters below. Once inside they indeed found Graedon, an alligator as his pet, and at least five people hanging on chains over the water. He moved after the half-orc towards Graedon deciding he would help take out the gater first.
Others worked to save the people in the water because Graedon did something that caused them to fall into the water. With the weight of the chains and being bound, they started drowning. Crollin was already dealing with a gator at this point. He almost wound up falling backwards into the water due to a dwarf finding a way by him to get at the water. Some of the chaos registered enough that he realized at least one of the dwarves knew a drowning captive, maybe two of them had family in there. He did not have time to worry as he, the half-orc, and another lady fought Graedon and the gator. Finally the gator died and the half-orc slammed Graedon with a fatal blow.
Seeing only the turmoil in the water that now included some sharks and most of the people he had entered with, he jumped in as well hoping his swimming skills kept his head above water despite the weight of his chainmail. He almost went under when a bad swing with his sword actually slammed the pummel into his head. Thankfully the shark he had tried to hit was still trying to take a bite out of someone else or was that something else. There was a strange snake being in this mix, too.
Somehow they managed to rescue four of the five alive along with having to save some of the not so great swimmers. Two of the dwarves were indeed family members to some of the dwarves in the party. At least they had survived.
Then the search of the place commenced. Quite a haul of loot was found along with Zellara's Harrow deck and a broach that belonged to the queen. It was decided that Zarai would hold onto the deck of cards and the broach would be returned to the queen. The rest of the loot was sorted into what would be sold and what would be kept for future use by the party.
Seeing how honorably this crew worked together, Crollin had no issues wanting to go with them to the queen. Of course, he really did not want to see her at all or any of the nobles in the city. At least, one had made his father appear to be a traitor and he had watched his father hung for it. The family was run out of the city and who knew which nobles got their holdings. He stayed to the back and let one of the dwarves, apparently one of the clerics in the party, do the talking when they went to the queen.
