new 50 questions before expansion

 Hello all,

   Looking for a little advice here. I recently started a cleric that I love and it looks like Ill be at 50 in early October. I want this guy to be primarily PVE and I love healing dungeons. My question is, with the huge changes coming out and the brand new gear appearing with the expansion, what should I be working on now in the awkward 2 months before then? I wont have time to get really good gear by accumulating different Marks. Someone on the forum suggested just running tons of experts and turning in the plaques for PA XP, since that will still be good. What do you guys think?

Also, if there are any cleric healers out there who wouldnt mind being a bit of a mentor I could go to with random questions I would really appreciate it. I dont want to be giving us a bad name by running around getting PUGs  wiped because im a terrible healer:) My in-game name is Ciradae. Thank you so much for your time.

the cleric forums are rabid with negativity. It is a little tough to read even though I have an alt cleric of only 31. the speculation is a boost to DPS across board. The wish is for the defiler(new soul) to be like a cloro using death magic. I personally do not think this will be as it will cheapen the cloro. My feeling of the class was shot down by a forum mod.saying it will not be a support soul I thought it was going to be a death based debuffer/buffer(archon)IMHO all builds should be put on hold till after 1.11 free respecs to all soul sets. First rule of being a cleric: read the official forums carefully and take most of it with a grain of salt. Like Thune said, a majority of what's on the forums is just people complaining. However, the suggestion to run experts and turn in plaques is pretty awesome, I think. If you want to jump into raiding, there are some family pick up groups going, and it's the easier stuff like Drowned Halls, Gilded Prophecy and River of Souls. The other nice part about running stuff being you'll meet people, which is fun. And, all that stuff gives you planar attunement levels too! As far as what Trion's going to do with an expansion gear reset, I don't think anyone knows. The raiding gear could be worthless as soon as you head to a new continent, or it could get you all the way to 60 before it needs replaced. Oh, and just an fyi, you don't give us a bad name by not being "uberleet" healer or whatever. We don't judge people's playing ability, we only help out! I hear Walk might be doing a cleric info session sort of thing... might be worth it to check it out :)
