2014 - Steam summer sale. Going On NOW!!

Last year, someone alerted the guild to the Steam summer sale.

I wanted to make sure everyone who has been waiting for the Steam Summer Sale this year, is notified.

My wife is going to have my head on a platter... These Steam Flash Sales have been eating a hole in our pocketbook. :)

What are some of your favorite Steam games? 

I'm looking forward to these total war games (Rome/Medieval II), and Civ5.  

.. and Dard Souls: prepare to die edition, and Dragon Age Origins Ultimate edition... 

.. and Age of empires Legacy Bundle (AOE II HD; AOE II HD: The forgotten; Age of Empires III: Complete Collection)

.. and a few random $1 to $2 games, because it would be a sin not to buy them for that low price.

I buy 10+ titles each time they have these sales in the Summer and Winter.  At this point, I think I have over 50+ titles I've accumulated in the past couple of years.  And I have played exactly none of them lol. 

It's literally impossible to resist though, it's like internet crack or something.  When you see a game sell for under $20 that used to sell for 3x as much, how can you possible say no?

The other thing that adds up is when you buy the ultimate deluxe supercool edition with all the dlc and expansions versus the normal version.  Sure I haven't actually played the game yet but what's a few more dollars so I can own everything lol.

"Internet crack"  LOL Bentmer.  My thoughts exactly.   These flash games are my preciousssss....

Today, I was focusing on how much I was saving.  Each bundle games, you save quite a bit.  Some of them had 10+ expansions, each included in the bundle.

I'm guilty too... the last winter sale, I bought a few things, and never did get around to playing them. heh.  

But there's a good chance I'll be cancelling my ESO subscription.  I'll need these games, once my sub is cancelled.
