I will be playing this game too!  Looking forward spending a lot of time playing ESO & WildStar!

I expected more from the beta of Wildstar. I expected a lot of humorous cutscenes, extremely innovative combat system, and a grind that didn't feel like a grind.

Instead, I feel that Wildstar's Beta fell flat on all of those expectations. Instead of humorous cut-scenes (There are some, they are just so few and far between.), you get WALLS OF TEXT when talking to quest NPC's. I don't wanna read all that. I want my character to have a conversation! Instead of an innovative combat system, you get battles that quite frankly, take forever (unless you're a stalker). The leveling is extremely slow, and there are just waaaaaay too many quests. Some of them are interesting, but most in my opinion are tedious, boring, and unfulfilling.

Were my expectations too high?

Personally, I had a great deal of fun in Wildstar.  I enjoyed the mobility of the characters.  I also enjoyed the flow from different quest hubs.  I thought it was an enjoyable, lighthearted type of game meaning it made me smile.  I did skip most of the text when talking to the NPC's and then would miss some of what I needed to do - but I agree completely with Viktor on that front - way to much text.  I would play the game live and enjoy it except for the subscription model.  I currently pay for WoW, SWOTR, and RIFT. I am already debating what game I will drop for ESO as 3 is my limit for subscription games and I would not drop any of those for Wildstar.
