Dawngate has been described as "League of Legends 5 man Twisted Treeline with Smite Items and Dota 2 stats."
From what I saw of the beta stream is has a fun loadout system that reminds me of Tetris. You use them to give your Shaper more stats like the League of Legends rune system. Also, the Bindings (turrets, towers) regenerate over time and the game has Spirit Wells that you can capture to gain more Vim (money).
If you are a MOBA fan and/or getting bored of the current MOBAs, I recommend checking it out.
