Dragon Prophet FTP MMO in beta

Well the beta for this game started on march 19th . I am not in it yet but they are now  offering  founder packs that give you more a deal then any game seen before. They are offering station cash with them that  basically makes everything you get for the game free. There  are 3 different levels 19.99, 39.99 and 89.99. . These packs are more then worth it even if dont like the game the station cash  value and can be used in other games for gold status or item store.

I dont know if anyone was interested in this game but it does have ALOT of the things people in the family look for. Frontier  system pvp aka the same type of pvp that was in star wars galaxies before the nerf. Player housing and guild housing similar to star wars galaxies also. Guilds can build empires in the game aka full cities with npc guards and the like . Of course these guild structures can be attacked and destroyed. The game has a robust crafting system also. The biggest thing that caught my eye is the fact you can have dragons as mounts and fighting companions. Yes its been compaired to something out of a pokemon book that you can actually go out into the wilds and capture a dragon train it and use it in battle but  that to me seems like a cool feature. There are over 300 dif types with all different kinds of abilties from flight which u can ride  them when flying to those that  cannot fly and can be like bulldozers on the ground.

I am going to try it out and was wondering if anyone else was also. Yes its being run by sony online entertainment but the people who designed the game is the same company that gave us runes of magic. I spent $50 on a Triple Station deal a couple of years ago, and haven't even touched that stash. I have something like 15,300 points, give or take. I was going to use some on PS2, but I just haven't been able to get into that game, yet.

Not sure I will try this one. Graphics look pretty much like Runes did (guessing they used the same graphic engine) and like WoW is a bit more "cartoonie" than I prefer Thanks for the info though :) (used to play runes of magic for a while as well heheh)

I bought all of mine for EQ2, but I just never get around to playing it. I love EQ2, but I always get distracted by new shinies, so just never get back to it.

I will give it a try since it is free to download and free to play. I am also sitting on some station cash from my EQ2 days...lol.
