Playing a Lancer Tank so if someone wants to hang and try it out hit me up

At the moment from what I have seen 2 toons per server createable for free accounts.

For those who like control useage, you can use Xbox 360 control or pc gaming control as well.

I am interested in trying it out, but can't seem to get the patcher to work right it is stuck at 0% when it tries to patch:( i played in open beta and thought it was fun but i wish i could get it to work. It seemed a bit grindy and something i would only play casually for fun but if i can get the patch to work i may just join you every now and then.

Izzy plays on Celestial Hills. I do not, on the PVE server, but tbh, I have nothing over level 7 because I deleted my high levels from the PVP server to restart, so if enough roll on Celestial, I might switch there. I just avoided the RP server because back when I played, EME was hardcore about banning accounts that violated the RP chat channel policy, and the RP nazis were very overzealous in who and what they reported, even if it was "in character" and just something they disagreed with about how you were "playing your character". Izzy said its not like that anymore, though.

I'll take a look at it,and try the free version if there is one...at least it has Healers lol.I'll probably be on as Tuugrymm and will at least level for a bit to see if I like it.

I got it to patch finally(apparently it was an admin thing, im so used to programs automatically doing that nowadays)and made a character by the name of corly in game on that server if you wanna hang out sometime:) current characters: Corly- sorcerer Corlyssa- mystic feel free to add me:)

I've tinkered around with TERA a bit -- I have a healer (Revynn) at lvl 19 now and just about ready to start healing dungeons.

I just got a Mystic to level 6, can play whenever. Have a few chars on a different server. I like the combat in the game, GW2's combat shoulda been closer to this.

been temped to try this but didnt because I am tired of being without friends and family playing a mmo. Now that I know people in family are playing it I may give it a chance. I like playing healers in MMO guess its time to take a look at the healing classes in tera hehe. BTW I take it the server would be Celestial Hill? What times of day are people messing with this ? Would like to get a group going or something if I do start playing it.

I'm in Mount Tyrannis under the name Flik.Blazefang. Imma priest.

I tried to download this game a couple weeks ago but got a security error. I researched it and it is something they've had a problem with since beta. Found problem: I had to disable all of my browser add-on's that blocked. Also when initializing install, I could not run as administrator, just double-click to get things installing.

? Edited on: 2013-02-24 07:28:16 Update: 27Gig? Really? Took hours to get to 81%, then I paused download. Later I was never able to restart the download. I have never had so much trouble and had to jump-over so many hurdles to try a game, not even Beta's. I finally deleted the files.

@ Toros Time of the day will be mix but maybe I can get one of the Elders to give us a room. So family can check and see if there is anyone on that way. But until then I will be grouping in "Extended Family Games" room, with comment as my name and Tera Online.

yay! i was hoping we'd get one:) I had fun yesterday when I went to level with balor, still hoping to hop on the mystic at some point tonight. I will be leveling my sorcerer as well, so hit me up and we can go have fun!

FI+YI if anyone is on the Celestial Hills server I just made a priest named taloros. Interesting getting used to playing with a xbox controller but it seems fun.

I looked at this game, but debating on what I want to do since it hasn't been until the last couple days my hand/arm felt better. Of course, real life had me busy those days, too.

I play TERA with keyboard and mouse. Interestingly, it will help your GW2 movements and dodges, that was how I adapted so quickly to GW2 and dodge rolling, especially with Mesmer and their evasive defense design.

i will be playing Kalabos and a cleric name TBA.

I maybe on a few Monday Morning EST. and on again on Tuesday a bit more since I dont work. But yes my Main is Balor.Gorgon a Lancer tank....

I tried this game out a little bit, but didn't continue with it because I didn't know anyone else who also played it. I'd be glad to join you guys in this game. Toon name will probably be SeraphDust and I'll probably go with some kind of DPS/Support.

Oldroar Raiders is the guild name, and to open the guild bank tab 1 will cost 3 Gold which isnt hard to get but so far Balor.Gorgon and Corly ( Jessica )can invite to the guild at the moment.

I have the game installed and have low level toons on another server. I like the game, but cannot stand the community on the server I was playing on. Not your server... can't think of the name, atm. Having the family involved would be a huge improvement. I'll reroll on your server. :)

Guild Bank is Open and all 4 Tabs are useable. So may store Items here for other players of other classes to help them out. ^_^

If you can as you join the Guild press "g" and under members tab put short name of you and then your main craft will try to help one another, as well replenish the guild bank with mats to help one another. Place spare coin in bank for Guild Hall reading more into Guild halls for future.

I will be on tonite 9:30pm PST/12:30 am EST. A few of us who play now aswell as those able to invite to the guild that was started.

I have been playing on/off on server Ascension Valley but I will come and move to Celestial Hill and join you. I'll add you ingame as soon as I make a character. :)

What did they do to the Amani armor!? 3 weeks ago, they were normal, now, they look like costumes from "Magic Mike."

Hm, not sure, I use the Korean skins, but I haven't logged in for a few weeks. I can easily switch between skins, so I'll have to see if they finally decided to just use the Korean skins and stop with the dumb "western censorship" nonsense.

I'm playing now.I have a Priest-Tuugrymm and a Berserker-Tregrymm.Figured I'd start a Berserker as it sounded like we have a lot of Priests.

Old Info but Great to help by the way for those earning the Guild Daily Tokens please deposit them into the guild bank and as we can we will upgrade the level as we can as well as extend are level. The Guild Hall im not sure but as it is seen can not been taken from us.

FYI to all wanting to join Tera online No one has to be online for you to get a invite you can simply just hit Esc or Alt to bring up cursor and then click on Social Icon ( shield crest ) Then to Guilds on Server and in the search box put Oldroar Raiders then to the far right hit apply to guild. And next time a member of the family can accept you into the guild.

I tried a free trial of this last year, then last month I tried it again. I stopped both times because I didn't know of anyone who played at the time. Knowing people here are playing may get me to actually play. Will try downloading it again and make a character on that server. Just curious about something. How strict are they about the whole RP type names? I ask because I would like to use this name (oreofox), but it isn't exactly the most RP name out there. I get tired of using some names, and would like to use this name as I am invested it in (been using it for 10 years now), but since I always try to play on RP servers, I can never really use it.

I got on last night and managed to play all right though my hands still a bit off. I did not know how to apply to the guild, but I think I successfully sent you a mail in game, Balor. If you did not get it, then the disconnect I had right after buggered it up. I'm easy to find since my character name is Briseadh. ::chuckles:: Level 4 Cleric still on the Noobie Isle. ;) I know the way you move in this game will help with getting me moving better in GW2 since some of the things I can't gimp to my hand needs, but actually it worked out better once I got it figured out.

I might install it and join you guys. Normally I play a healer but it seems so does a lot of the family so I might try a DPS for once.

Sekkerhund, the human plate armor is the same, but the Amani has changed.. I'm not prudish in the least, but I liked the other style better. Oreofox, your name is fine. While I can't remember specific ones, I do recall seeing the whole range of typical MMO names... though I haven't seen xLegolasXX, yet.

Just remember you can apply to guild without anyone being on just need to wait till someone gets on to accept it ^_^. Off tonite so I be on for some time.

Wow, you're really getting this kicked off quite well. I'll reroll on CH, its not a big deal because I screenshot all of my character creation settings, so its pretty quick to re-create them exactly the same. I'd already deleted my PVP server toons and rerolled on the PVE server, but don't have anything off the Intro island, so I don't have anything to lose by another server change. edit: not sure when I'll get to it, but I remember the offline guild invite request feature, so I'll be sure to use that once I reroll.

Yeah, I played a little bit in the past couple days to try it out. I like it and well it really does help me find new ways to get my hands working instead of the way I can gimp GW2 that really isn't working. ::chuckles:: Anyway, I'm still on the noobie island. I made Briseadh a cleric - proving different in how this game works with the healers. And I really do have to remember to heal myself more often. Had two deaths and one was definitely due to me NOT healing myself. LOL!

I have a 60 Mystic and 60 Lancer on Mount Tyrannis, although I haven't logged in for about 6 weeks. If anyone's playing there, I'll join you. I hate games where we need to RNG plusses on armor, though. This will never be a major game for me.

@Kale. I'm on Mount Tyrannis too. What are your character names? I'll add you.

hahahah Bris, yea people (and EME/BH) say that Warrior as a tank, is the most difficult class to play (even after the Warrior changes) but playing a Healer takes the most skill IMO, by far.

Back at Sekkerhund: Oh, I did not put my healing circle in the right spot. You could have moved. Hehehehehe

Bris: LOL just wait till you get a Warrior tank (they're evasive tanks, like RS Rogues). They've fixed them a little, so that they don't have to move around so much, but just imagine trying to heal in that game with a Dodge tank. O.O

@Kale, Victor I play on MT as well. My main char is a warrior named Reemee. It's a name I used for my cleric alt in RIFT. Mostly playing the PvP side of the game right now.

Mine are Kale and Chimay. I forgot all about this thread. Just logged onto Tera for the first time in a while.

Both my and my kid joined on Celestial, but she left (the guild) because noone was really playing. To be quite honest, I'm usually the only one on in the guild at my random playtimes so I haven't bothered adding my alts in. Is there not alot of people playing right now (on Celestial)?

I played for a few days. The aesthetics of the game just doesn't do it for me and really puts me off of it. I think I might have reached level 10 before I stopped. Not sure to be honest.

I'll start playing again if there's a GSCH group. Tera is an awful game to play alone, and the general public in the game is kind of revolting, but I'll level and grind with GSCH groups if any grow more active. I have Mount Tyrannus 60's and Celestial Hills lowbees.

I am on Hold at the moment due to my Guild Wars 2 leadership, my job and my current sickness of this bloodly cold. But I am the not active as much for the game was meant to be a secondary game for me when I wasn't on Guild Wars 2. So sorry if people feel that no one is on I still have my accounts, beyond that most likely won't find me on Tera due to the new updates that are gathering my focus for Community Events on Guild Wars 2. Yeah I have been probably the most one on I play it usually everyday for a cpl hours since I have gotten severely bored with GW2. I have been keeping the bank updated since it costs 3 gold a week to keep it active using the funds in the guild bank. The community is not as bad as people are stating about it. Yes the global chat is horrid but a majority of the people in the game are very nice. Its always a few choice people that ruin a game for others. If you turn off global chat you hardly would think it was that bad. I am really only using it as a stop gap. I am eagerly awaiting the reopening of Final Fantasy XIV once that launches I doubt Ill play tera.

I hear you. I'm mostly waiting on FFXIV ARR myself lol

Downloading the latest big content expansion this evening, just to see what it is like.  If anyone is around, let me know and we can crosshair some mobs together.

The new dungeons are fun so far, but it's still a dungeon re-runner game hoping for drops to PvP with.

The new Kumasylum BG opened this week.  I am really hooked on this one.   I think it's the most fun I've had in Tera ever.  I hope they keep adding more equalized BG's.  This gameplay is too good to be wasted on a grinder MMO.

To be honest, I looked at it and thought it GW2 for a second. Would someone mind taking a bit of time and writing a review on this game? It looks interesting, and what I've read online, since this post came back up, it sounds like something I may want to try.

It's a free game, so you could just download and try it.
