I thought some parts looked really cool but I hope they change some of the open world pvp stuff (I know I am probably in the minority). :)

Thanks for posting that. I was skeptical about Archeage but after reading that, I believe now I am converted :) The open PvP part may irk me but we'll see. The legal system will counter act that and I love that concept. I love how he got from 1-50 without doing any real questing and I know Marrra and I love the housing concept in games. We do miss LotRO in that regard but wished their housing system was revamped (I think it is shortly or has been now?). Anyway, keeping my eye on this now, thanks to that article :)
Sounds more and more exciting with everything I see about this game. The open pvp is going to be something that for me will have a steep learning (and tolerance) curve for sure, but it is going to mean that we will need to stick close by our guild mates more than ever, which will be... cosy :)
hmm... That article did really point out a major flaw in how PVP works in the game. "Hard CC abilities: There is a lot of hard CC in this game and it makes the PvP battles too short. Commonly the winner is whomever attacks first. I'd at least like to see more resistance or ways to counter the extensive CC. There isn't a lot you can once you get CC'd do especially against fighter stuns/knockdowns in the game right now." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0PUD8mjDVU

The PVP and Legal system seems very unappealing to me, but I am not a PVPer at all. And it seems there is no way to avoid it after level 30. With no way to disable PVP this isn't looking good.
