Planetside 2 & Australians

With the caps in WvW in GW2, I've updated my Planetside 2 to give it a try again. I barely played it but liked that it was putting forth when the Australian server went online.

I'm curious though, is there any other Aussies here that are playing it? I would love to get an outfit (guild) together or know if one is there is so we can group up when we are around. Otherwise, if someone knows of a group, I'll see about joining it. I'm mostly playing it from time to time, nothing full time yet but may play it an hour or so each night if I get into it while playing GW2 still.

I played it for a bit at launch but honestly just lost interest after a week. I think I have grown out of FPS games now, I can't even log into BF3 anymore.

Been playing quite a bit lately, mostly on Connery server.

Elth: I am all over the place with games lately but thankfully got around to finishing Dead Space 1 & Mass Effect 2 finally. I still like my FPS but not done a lot of them for awhile. I'm unfortunately on Briggs, and I won't be budging. It ain't often us Aussies get a locally hosted server :D I am thinking I'll just give it a try again but see how it goes. The first time I played the servers were down a lot for maintenance. Hopefully that is fixed now.

On Connery as well. Planetside 2 is what drew me away from GW2 for now.

Of all games I am playing at the moment, would you be surprised to know that I am actually playing World of Warcraft. It's been a good 4 or 5 years since I played it last for any longer than a week so it's an interesting reunion that should keep me amused for a few weeks.

It's so cool to see that you guys like playing the game I work on! If you're an NC on Connery add me - TheMegamerican. The new Guild Missions have sort of stolen my attention from PS2 but when the next continent goes live I'll be playing a ton!

@Sekkerhund I still had an active subscription because of some deal that got me a free copy of Diablo3 for subscribing. Surprisingly, I'm not ashamed to say I'm enjoying it but my sub runs out soon and I wont renew it. I have thought about coming back to plantetside2 but FPS Mmos are a little irritating with latency even when they have an Oceanic server. Nothing I hate more than losing accuracy because of rubber banding. Even Battlefield 3 has these issues when overseas players find themselves on our servers. I'm mainly just waiting for Neverwinter and Elder Scrolls online now. Hopefully the Neverwinter Foundry isn't too hard to get my head around, I'd love to recreate some of my homebrew dungeons from D&D mixed with some interesting boss mechanics but I'm worried I don't have the scripting experience to make it worthwhile. That and it's still unknown to see how advanced the foundry is and what it is capable of.
