I wasn't sure who to bugger-boo with this so I made a thread. :X
Just a small thing, but my GW2 area (guildwars.gaiscioch.com) shows that I have been sent an in-game invite and it is pending acceptance, though I have already accepted and am in GSCH. I am pretty sure a few days ago that same spot was showing my promotion requirement info, not sure if I broke something somehow.

I am in the same boat. I thought it might be a case of being moved to one of the full-member chapters from the general "Gaiscioch" so I went ahead and hit the button to request a re-invite as I had no pending invite in-game. But I was re-invited into Gaiscioch, where I have been since the start. Not a big deal, I'm happy to be in the family no matter which chapter, just a curiosity that I have that message here on the dashboard that I have an invite pending.
I think it is just some change Fog made on the website. I as a elder and member of quite a while see it too. :)
There is no way for the site to know you've actually accepteds that invite. Just ignore it. Once ArenaNet gives us the bridge between game and website this will go away and things will get easier.
Is such a bridge pending, and in what form? I was toying with the idea of creating one for funsies, but it would obviously be preferable to have an official way.

They still haven't released the ipad / droid app they announced 2 years ago. That app should also have an api we can connect to.
Oooo, yeah, an API would be fantastic - if ArenaNet has one of those on the way, that's definitely the way to go. I was thinking it's also completely possible to grab the raw guild data from the game client itself, and use that to update the website. Technically, it would also be possible to make in-game changes as well, like automated invites, moving people between rooms, etc, but the techniques for doing that stuff might make ArenaNet angry, which is bad.
