"This is the last time I ever got to see my Orc Choppa in game," sent in reader Sean. "Oddly enough, I couldn't get a screenshot of my Order character because even in the final days they didn't take out the faction locking, and so I was locked out for eight hours."

It's also the last time that I'll be able to make that awesome Predator pun that you see in the title of this week's column there. Man, with Warhammer Online gone, how will I be able to make my '80s action movie references? I guess I'll just put on a brave face and soldier on, somehow.

Despite its many shortcomings, it was the most fun, massively multiplayer PvP content that I've ever played.  If only its server architecture and game engine could have supported its true potential...

They kept that game on life support long enough, I haven't played that since a few weeks after their skaven / rvr failure.  

I had so much fun teaming up with my wife on our shamans and just face melting those poor souls that decided to venture out by themselves :)

3 hour keep sieges with everyone on the brink of rage quitting, just to do one last push that finally worked.

Well despite Mythics/EA apparent failure in game design, that's the memories I choose to hold on too.

Someone is opening a private server, not sure who, but its supposedly going to be ready soonish -  Good War's never end...
