Good read, thanks for linking:) I am looking forward to the patch. I will probably be going for carrying more supply first, five manning hills is awesome but by the time we get that flame ram in on the second gate we are bone dry for supply and can't go back because we're already in the lord's room trying to claim. We don't have time to go back when we have enemies about to pour in on us any second.

Some good information. Looking forward to seeing what else they include in the March update. And I find the comments section hilarious. People complain that this isn't progression. Yes there is, it's lateral instead of vertical progression. Sigh... when will people get over the fact that GW2 is never going to implement abilities or gear that totally negate a playing field to the point where one person can steamroll an entire group (of players or mobs)...

Agree with you Nightsong. I also read, and I don't know if it has been implemented yet, or if it is coming now in march, but there going to eliminate the orange sword pop ups if the attacking party is less than 25. This seems like a great idea to maybe form small parties to take over encampments silently? Will also promote the set up of scouts around the map just to keep a lookout for raiding parties. All in all, I like where this is heading. Keep up the good work ANet.

Chucho the swords change has already been implemented and personally I love it. I know playing scout/guarding a tower can be boring at times but this should spread people out more which I think is a good thing.

i am just excited to see culling gone! This made my day. I absolutely hate culling. especially since my comp should be able to handle what this game throws at it in ultra setting :). cant' wait till the patch.

yep it`s about time , as small scale skrimsher groups are always the key to victory , the big army gets the credit but it`s the small scale operations that made it possible for the larger force to be effective . Ran around with Balor yesterday morning for my first time back in WvW in over a month I think. Actually loved that we were a small force and taking out things did not pop them swords up. We figured out where the enemy zerg was and avoided them, but took out any of their small groups. So we were the little pain in the butt out there. Good times. I rather like how our various WvW crews do the zerg, but with the dagger groups, too. Always fun. I know I've run along in the zerg a lot at times due to my hands not handling things, though I love the small group deal way better. I think ANet is going in the right direction with WvW even if it is coming one step at a time. =)

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

Well, it is one way to break up the zerg mentality. Even if a zerg hits a Tower, if the other teams are broken down into <25 member teams, the zerg won't be able to tell where the enemy forces are, or how many are inbound to defend whatever they're assaulting.

I'm very glad culling will be finally removed. So this is a good thing. Unfortunately, I hate seeing the addition of WvW character progression. Players and companies will never learn! You want to dish out some fancy titles or WvW-specific armor skins for those who WvW frequently? Fine, you'll get no argument from me. But giving them new found abilities and powers? Sorry, there is no need and no matter how careful you are it will lead to an imbalance. Unfortunately that imbalance will favor the large and more active WvW servers and make the gap between them and the casual servers even wider.
