Not sure if this it the right place to post this but wanted to document what I've found with the new sPvP map Lunaitc Inquisition. Would also like to get others input so we can figure out all the ins and outs.

So from the looks of it everyone starts as a villager. I'm not sure if the mad king converts one person randomly or if when someone picks up a 'tainted' item from the ground it converts them.

If you are a villager you want to stay that way for the 15 minutes and if you are converted into a 'lunatic' or ghost you want to kill all the villagers. If there are villagers alive at the end they get several halloween gift bags. If everyone is converted then the lunatics get halloween gift bags but I believe the lunatics get fewer bags because they have several advantages.

As a villager you can pick up anything off the ground and use it in various ways... weapon, disable lunatic, heal yourself. I believe there are also NPCs at the 4 corners of the map that are looking for one of the items you pick up off  the ground. Bring them enough of that item and they will create a feast for any villager to use which gives you a speed boost. You can go invisible for a short time and you can get away from a lunatic but know that they have the advantage. There are spots on the map where if you run by them a red demon comes out of the wall to let any lunatics know where you are. Do not hang around these spots because you are just asking to be taken down.

As a lunatic you have four abilities on the left and five on the right. You seem to run slower than the villagers but you are much more powerful. You can do a basic attack, leap attack, shout and place a scarecrow that has decent range and fears anyone in it's circle of effect. The five abilities on the right ask the Mad King to make the villagers do a pose which causes them to not be able to run. I've only seen it work once so I'm not quite sure of the mechanic. As a lunatic you can pick up a lot of the same items that villagers can but instead of the abilities they give the villagers they allow the lunatics to drop traps, fake feasts, poison villagers etc.

There seems to be a lot going on and a lot of the people I have played with didn't seem to get it and didn't like the dynamic. It takes some getting used to but I've had fun playing. There are interesting strategies as villagers and lunatics. As I have figured things out I am finding myself at the top of the board when the round finishes.

One added benefit is that you can sell a lot of the loot you get from the halloween bags on the trading post. Some of them are selling for 25-35 copper at the moment.
