Changes in Prissy's Friday and Saturday Events

Hello Everyone,

IF you have checked the calendar you will have noticed that my Friday and Saturday events have been changed. I have accepted the challenge of helping the guild prepare and do the guild challenges as they become available.  For everyone who has participated with me in those events - you are awesome and you make those events fun to do and keeps me coming back every Friday and Saturday. Those events may eventually be back but for now we are heading to undiscovered terroritory.

Friday nights we are going to run and get as many WP in all of the zones that have a guild challenge NPC in them and trace the path that they follow. I have found information on the Duffy site which will be help. So everyone who would like to be the front line scouts meet me in Queensdale - Friday @ 5pm server time for our first scouting mission.

Saturday at 9am server I will be conducting the Guild's first Guild Bounty Quest. Everyone is welcome to attend and help us discover how these things work. Please bring you patience and plan to have a fun time. We will begin forming up at 845am server in Queensdale.

I am very excited to be leading you into a new adventure, the undiscovered country or maybe just a revisit.

The directionally challenge explorer

The hours for these events really don't work for me either, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to participating, but I hope you have a lot of fun doing it. I should also point out that we found one of the NPCs, one named Sotzz the Scallywag almost directly south of Applenook Hamlet Waypoint in Gendarran Fields, directly south of the Weaponsmith close to that waypoint (the distance on the map is smaller than the mouse cursor when fully zoomed in). He didn't seem to be going anywhere... probably because he's too drunk to move.

Yea, 9am server on Saturday won't work for me either. I'd rather see these new guild mission things occur at a more amiable time in the afternoons or something, if they're going to happen on a weekend.

I'm with the "regretfully decline" Saturday morning mission group as well. I was looking forward to bounty hunting too. But that early in the morning doesn't work for me.

Hey Prissy, I am looking forward to the guild bounty hunt on Saturday. I also saw that you had a 5pm server guild bounty hunt explorer on Saturday during the family summit - did you mean for that to be Friday?

Which guild(s) is (are) the guild missions being fired from 9am Saturday?

You have this event posted for Saturday night, not Friday night....I thought it odd that that the write up said in preparation for Saturday's event when it was scheduled for Saturday night. I am hoping this is a mistake, and you really are doing this event TONIGHT, Friday.

Yes her 5pm event is tonight. Nothing is planned during the family meetings.

Also a bit disappointed at the timing for the Guild Bounty event, as 9:00 AM on Saturdays is something I can't ever make. Are there plans to add a second one during the week sometime soon? I feel like maybe having one in the evening as well on one day during the week would help a lot for the large chunk of guild members that can really only sign on at night. Otherwise, good luck to all of you on these new Guild Challenges!

Everyone please give me a chance to work on the timing of the guild mission and learn how they work and what guild is going to do what. The whole thing has been live 3 days. I am planning on a rotation schedule for times and days and stuff but have not got that far yet. Please be patient and give the us a chance to work on it. Its a shame RL interfers with the game play. The explorer event is on Friday 5pm to 9pm server time. We will be meeting in Queensdale.( can not change it at work - the website hates me here) The Saturday event is 9am to 12pm server time. Remember this will be the first time most of us have seen these events. Come for the soul purpose of having fun and learn about these missions. Prissy

Understood Prissy, I'm just wondering if it will be Na Anu or Na Rall (or one of the other guilds) firing off the event Saturday Morning. I don't think I can make it since my business opens at 11 EST (8am server time) on Saturdays and I need to be there for coverage until some time in the afternoon. I'm trying to see if I can do some shenanigans and get someone to come in and cover for me at noon (9am server) so I can attend, but if the mission is being fired off by a guild I'm not even in then I'm not going to inconvenience friends or employees and mess up the schedule and then not even be able to participate! I figure a more permanent schedule will get figured out and I'm not pushing you for that =) just wondering what's going on tomorrow morning! I do appreciate you running the event though!

Ok guys. Priority 1: unlock the guild missions Priority 2: build understanding of how these work Priority 3: build schedule of when to do these. By next week well have a better understanding regarding these and how they work. For now we need your help unlocking the ability to even do them. We need to raise another 80, 000 inf in each primary room of the house to clear the next bar. Group together do dungeons complete events and as we know more well work the bounties into rotation. Most of all be patient.

Understood, but please keep in mind, that considering its a shiny new game system that everyone is excited about and has been hyped about for the past month, everyone is chomping at the bit to participate in not just A Guild Mission, but the FIRST Guild Mission. Sadly, you can only have one "first", so it means a lot to folks that they can participate. Granted that not everyone who wants to make it, will be able to, but its just something to keep in mind when scheduling that first mission. Plus, we're doing these just for the fun and enjoyment. Whether or not we learn all the prep work ahead of time and do it perfect and right the first time, really doesn't matter. We'll figure these out as a family and have fun doing it, because that's the Gaiscioch way, right? ;) edit: pointing out this is a generalized post, since I know that in my own mind, but the reader may not understand that.

As I stated the other night - I haven't seen 9 a.m. server time in over 4 years... I go to bed approximately 4 a.m. server time so that is a bit rough on my old bones ;) BUT - you know what???? I'm going to set my alarm and try to make it. Prissy runs awesome squads and is very patient with us - so I have no issues losing a few hours of sleep (that's what naps are for...) to join up with her on this new adventure. IF... you don't see me, it is because I said a few bad words and shut the alarm off and went back to sleep. If that happens I'll catch you the next time. Safe journ...

I have found out that I will be able to do a guild bounty for each of the 5 family guilds. Not sure what order I am going to do them but we will have 5 attempts at guild bounty quest tomorrow. Prissy

Sounds fun and I'll definitely be there! One bit of advice from Dulfy that seems smart...pick out targets and have groups following those targets and ready to go BEFORE we trigger the event! That way we use all the time available on the event to kill the targets instead of using valuable time to find the targets!

That's good to hear Prissy, because from what I've heard, players have to be representing to get any goodies. Sadly, I tried staying up for the event, but I just can't hang in there, my head is trying to smack the keys as I type this, and even though I set my alarm, I probably will flip it off and sleep through it and I might even miss the Summits today. If I'm not around, good luck to everyone attending and I am very interested to find out the results of exactly what happens with this test run. :)

Well Sek ... I did the same - the alarm came and went... 4 hours of sleep just wasn't enough... BUT I hope everyone had fun and learned some stuff. I'll make the next one if it isn't a Sat or Sun morning since staying up for Club Gaiscioch is just too much fun for me to pass up. I wasn't able to join in on the Waypoint expedition Prissy ran Friday night either - but I had RC up and listened to the chat. I think she has a good plan. @ Errant... I don't know if you need a group running after them - just a scout - especially if everyone has the waypoints like Prissy was organizing. Then you can send in your assassination squads as preset to Target one, target two, etc. Just need to get the scouts ready to port out and join up where they are needed. I know Prissy wants to get a run together for just getting all the waypoints - I know I need to concentrate on that myself - 3 level 80s and not one is more than 50% map complete /hangs head in shame Again, hope all had fun!
