Since we re-arranged the houses I've have updated my profile, asked re-invite and was moved to a new guild. All well and good and went pretty smoothly. However while in WvW events I've noticed commanders asking people to represent a certain guild. I only am in one guild that I am able to represent. Am I suppose to be able to represent all the family guilds? My rank is Saighdear.
On your profile here on the website, if you have PvP clicked as a preferred playstyle you will get an invite to GSCH Na Rall in addition to your base house (Gaiscioch, or the Funny I one). That's the guild you are being asked to represent in WvWvW if you have it available.
You'll get more pvp related guild buffs in Rall, just like you'll get more pve related guild buffs in Anu, aside from that I'm not sure why you'd rep a certain one aside from looking for groups, though I don't pvp much atm.
Zoe I believe it's so the contribution earned on the battlefield can be used by the battlefield teams (Na Rall), and separated from the contribution towards dungeon/meta event crews (Na Anu). Just my guess, seems logical :)
Well it would make it easier to track who's doing more pvp vs pve that way agreed plus would give the Na Rall section more influence during WvW which is mostly where they get it from what I can tell. Thanks point taken Twilah :)
Ok I was just wondering if I was suppose to able to switch to another guild when asked to. But gonna guess I'm not. Because if I was I would have been invited to the other family guilds by now. Ty for your feed back :)
