From what I understand when you go to Toypocolapse you're put in a random group, so to me it doesn't seem like you could do a guild event for this.

Yea, its totally random who you are grouped with, and includes players from different servers, afaict.
Aww, bugger. Marrra and I were going to group for that tonight with a guild group. I can understand the reasoning though. The achievement is survive 50 waves, so if you had an organised group, it should be a piece of cake but as a pick-up group, you have to work harder to get there.
So how about a fractal run? Would love to do my first one!
Thanks to those that came along on the Tixx run, it was a hoot! Also tried my hand at Toypocolapse and it seemed fun.
