Our Community Events and Asking For Invites

Greetings Everyone,

I want to ask a favor of everyone. Since launch I've seen a lot of "GSCH Invite Please" pop up in map chat. I want to ask that we change that to "Event invite please" in map chats. 

From the perspective of the community when you say GSCH Invite Please it looks to be a "Guild Only" thing and that is counter productive to the mission we are trying to accomplish. Asking for "Event Invite Please" builds curiousity and will have people asking what event is going on in which case we can invite them to join in. It's a much more welcoming approach and helps build our community events.

Remember: Gaiscioch is a Social Gaming Community devoted to building Server Communities. 

This means that we do not just build our own ranks but we build the ranks of every guild on our server, welcome every player, and have an open stance toward people participating in our events. Please try to keep us open and friendly by changing the wording on your invite requests. Thanks!

This sounds better to me. I'll make sure I keep this in mind for the events I do get to, usually the crafting faire stuff, and remind people about this. =)

Sounds like a plan. I will change my approach going forward.

While I can't fault the free advertising of "Event invite please" in /map, I've found it easier to just start targeting people randomly, right clicking their portrait, and selecting "Join party". No muss, no fuss.
