Last night was a lot of fun. Spartan did an awesome job leading, and everyone involved did a great job. I do not know how many times we dropped in on SoS in the cap ring of one of our towers and slaughtered them before it could flip. It is also really cool to get such a positive response from the competition.

[TSym] were awesome last night. We had a lot of fun wiping each other out. Spartan was amazing. It was the most fun I've had in WvW for quite awhile. [FoE] were worthy opponents as well. Their skill with portals is both terrifying and beautiful to behold.

Yes Monday night was loads of fun. Spartan was awesome, as usual, and it is nice to be up against some great competitors this week.

So many portal bombs, then swinging blindly in a massively crowded empty room. It was great fun!

Agree w/ the above...I have been doing WvW almost daily since launch and I was very impressed w/ Spartan's knowledge and tactics...especially in countering their portals which had been crushing people on our server over the weekend. It's the closest I felt to raiding that I've experienced in this game...however, because we're dealing w/ real live opponents it kind makes it even more exciting.

Thanks for sharing. I have to say, with all modesty, that we were pretty darn good last night. Well, most of us. I still have no clue how to play an ele in WvWvW and need to stick with one of my main characters. I did manage to collect a lot of bags, but just tossed out spells hoping to hit things. I am much more precise with what I do with a Necro, Engy, or Ranger. I think it's great we can show each other such mutual respect. Anyway... Spartan and the crew were amazing last night... and I tagged along :)

Alot of credit for last nights engagement has to also go to Solarady, Samion and any other Mesmers in our team dropping portals. Most of our success in alot of the engagements came from them managing to get their portals down faster than our opponents could plant theirs, allowing us to get the drop on SoS time after time. We basically outplayed Sea of Sorrows using their own tactics against them. Full credit to Sea of Sorrows though. They didn't give an inch, and were furiously retaking any progress we made just as fast as we were gaining it. Most opponents would have been quickly demoralised (or just plain exhausted) after what Spartan put them through. It's hard enough keeping up with Spartan as his ally, with full knowledge of where he's going and what he's up to... I'd hate to think how hard it must be for for the enemy to keep up with him.

I'm glad to see that kind of email - that was really nice of TSym. And yes, the WvW event was fantastic. Spartan is a great leader, not only because he's got great tactical awareness, but also because he knows how to make you feel welcome. It's so refreshing. Also, the banter in Raidcall was so much fun. Even after I left the event (I had to leave before it ended), I still remained in the channel for a little while so I could listen to everyone just... having fun. As it should be. It was not only great, but just what I needed after a few difficult days/weeks. So, thanks everyone for such a great time. I'm looking forward to the next event, and I'm not even that much into WvW... but I'm really into what we shared during this event - fun, camaraderie, respect, all the things this family stands for. It was fantastic, and I thank you all for that.

Sorry I missed this event last night. :-( Sounds like a great time! When we have the opponents sending us mail like this it should make us extremely proud to be in this family! ;-)
