Quickie Announcement - GW Retirement (Personal)

Family,

Just wanted to officially state my retirement From Guildwars 2, The game had a lot of promise and I more than anyone was more hyped than any about its release. However, after putting in lots of hours I've come to the decision of removing my self from the game.

Currently my only remaining role inside of the game its self will be strictly work related as an elder of the family. I want to say, thank you to all those who helped me out and played with me along the way. And especially those who helped me during initial release and made the first 6 hours of GW2 smooth and desirable.

The game simply isnt holding my attention, the action feel is fun and enjoyable, but ultimately I desire a more structured classic feel to my mmorpg's. I may return some day, but for the foreseeable future I will no longer be playing. You can however still let me know if you need my assistance as an officer in all guilds (gaiscioch splits) inside of GW2 and are unable to find another officer/elder to help you out.

Thanks for everything and I will see you all in Rift!

P.S I am not leaving the family or any thing resembling it, simply OFFICALLY no longer playing Guild Wars 2 in any capacity. :D

I took a poll, and decided I will miss you in GW2. I am glad you came to a decision, because it is about going where you have fun with your friends. There is nothing worse than having to stick with an MMO you do not like out of obligation. This falls into the "play how you want" category. Thank you for all you did to help the GW2 launch go smoothly, and for giving the game a chance. See you on the darkside sometime!

Oh no! I won't see the kitten help you die in GW2. ::evil grin:: You'll be missed on the GW2 side, but I understand completely because I did not resub to Rift for multiple reasons. And in agreement with Hex, "play as you want" category activated. ;)

I'm going on record to say that I was not asked to participate in said poll. That and I thought we were talking about pole dancing.
