Very good read. This is all good advice. I was hoping they'd go with a better 2-factor solution, or follow Blizzard's lead and offer a physical code generator. This will just encourage the bad guys to compromise your phone, which is infinitely less secure than your computer.

I've read many statements on many forums that people state "I just can't remember a bunch of different passwords" and " needs better security". It is apparent from the article that hackers have developed far more than what our concept of hacking is. Scanning through data bases using names and passwords that they have stolen from "others".... just wow - those devious . It is obvious, as with so many things, that security starts at home. How can you not use a different password for every account you have - you don't need to remember them. Write them down. Just read the article - look at all the passwords they won't allow since the hackers are scanning for them. Unique passwords for all accounts - Just Do IT!
