Hey guys, I'm experimenting with camera settings to take good picture and video, hopefully for the events tomorrow. The thing that's bugged me the most is that you can't seem to zoom in all the way past your character's head... meaning your avatar is always in the picture.
Has anyone found a way around this? Thanks!
Oddball tip I found so far: Make your character /sleep and zoom in all the way to hide them. This makes for nice stationary pans, which may be the best I can do without my character in the scene. Moving shots may have to have my toon zoomed out all the way. Bleh!
/sleep is the only way currently in game to do this.
I was looking all over the settings to try and find a first person view button. First MMO Ever to not zoom all the way into first person view. Going to be very difficult to make any sort of videos that don't focus on a single character.
They had 1st Person in BW1 and 2. They disabled it for some reason or another. Not sure why yet.
Ultima online, shadowbane are 2 mmos I know off the top of my head where you could not zoom to 1st person :) can be annoying, but eventually 1st person may be put back in which would be nice. also can petition for the addition of a screenshot mode that does include your character in the picture?
