The new beta driver is out and it specifically mentions GW2 in the patch notes. It's supposed to be a pretty good boost to the graphics.
I haven't tried them yet, I am downloading them now. I'll post again if I encounter any problems.

Has anyone else noticed odd shadow behavior with ambient occlusion turned on in nvidia control panel?
Thanks for the info. Just FYI, it is possible people will see higher GPU temperatures if the new drivers increase frame rate and a person does not limit the FPS in game settings.
They are going to be releasing a WHQL driver in a couple of days. I would suggest waiting unless you are having issues, or just can't live without ambient occlusion, which seems to be having issues anyway.
I did notice improved performance going from the 301 WHQL driver to 304.79 beta, and it ran stable all weekend.
Also, yes, not having vsync on or frame limiting will make the temps higher. The card is working harder to pump out max frames. I keep vsync on for all of my games. Check out a program like MSI afterburner which lets you set up fan profiles if you are concerned about your card getting too hot.
