Love the announcements...but can't sign up?

Hi folks!

I'm seeing announcements for events...crafting, WvW, etc...but when I go to the calendar and click on the events, I'm unable to RSVP for them.  I know that I'm signed in and I have GW2 as one of the games listed in my profile, so I'm a bit confused as to what else I'm supposed to do.  Am I missing something?

In any case, thanks for getting family events organized and announced...love it!  Looking forward to seeing y'all in game...

You sign up to events as a character currently. Unless you Claim your Character aka Create your Character for GW2 nothing will show up for you.

Also, I haven't tied the event signup ability into the GW2 side of the site so I have no idea if it will even work. It's still one area i need to build. Signup is not required for any of our events, it just helps organizers know what to expect.
