Old Warhammer Players

Hiya folks,

I just wanted to drop a line. My name is Q, and I represent a handful of old Warhammer people who used to play with some of you ages ago. I was Roarq at the time, and my teammates are the other players from Winter is Coming, Sfom, Ranzimus, Asynchritus, Rathgahr, and Mercy.  The tribute to Oldroar caught our attention and it was really touching. We were intending to play Guild Wars 2, but becoming aware of the memorial as well as Gaiscioch's efforts... well it made the choice of server much easier.

So I wanted to touch base, and get back in contact with people. I reached out and spoke with Foghlada last night, and well... it was just very nice to be welcomed so positively. For the last few years we've been lashing around trying to find a game that would herald back to the fun we used to have. But it wasn't just fun that was missing, it was community. 

We are really looking forward to fighting alongside everyone, and cannot be more enthused about it.

Dude Roarq! It's been too long. I remember you, Winter is Coming, and Sfom (and I think? Mercy? My memory isn't above and beyond). Great to see you guys are still around. I personally look forward to playing with you guys again. Cheers!

Thanks! We're all pretty excited about the prospect. And yup, Sfom was our guild leader. She'll most likely be on in a bit after work hours are over. Going to try and play with folks during the beta weekend.

Great to hear from you Roarq, and really looking forward to the prospect of seeing Winter is Coming (and I can only hope many other old allies and foes alike from WAR) playing on the same server in Guild Wars 2. I remember being very impressed with a few skirmishes I saw WiC involved in back in WAR. Cheers once more!

This is gonna be one epic adventure :D

I look forward to restoring the faith of the faithful via a new Hour of Power.

Sfom is gonna have to learn the pantheon and choose a suitable god. And, of course, be human I think.
