child account or something for my son to play?

hi guys,

I'm setting up a GW2 account for my son - he is now old enough to start playing this type of game, mostly as an incentive to learn and have fun while learning. I heard one of the guild guys mention a child account while he was in Discord, but I did not catch how to set it up. I've searched the forum but don't see anything specific except a thread about a child rank.

Is there anything specific I need to do, or do I just set up an account here using his email (which I manage)?

Hi there, 

Log in to the Gaiscioch website. in the left hand corner you will see your name - go to edit profile - there will be some tabs that say - Account, mentorship ... Family Accounts. You add them in there. 

They will not be able to claim events until they are 16, I believe, but they can still follow along with us as long as they follow the rules.  My grandsons are my little followers and do quite well.
