Hey all, sorry I haven't been around. Thanks to my efforts shoveling (and not paying special attention to myself) the recent masses of snow and ice that have been dumped on us here I caught pneumonia about the middle/end of January, and recovered just in time for the Winter Olympics to start. So, I have been watching Olympics in my free time and walking around like a zombie when not watching them. I will be MIA until they finish.
Back when I started Rift, my second character was a female cleric named Kalla, named after the Olympian Charlotta Kalla of Sweden for her impressive gold medal in the Women's 10km Classic Cross Country at the Vancouver Olympics. It was just a random choice of inpiration when I went to choose a name for the character and since has become my online MMORPG gaming handle (thanks to Rift, and GW2 after). Anyway, Charlotta Kalla is tearing it up again in Sochi and recently overcame a 25 second deficit (which is a huge deficit in cross country) on the anchor leg in the Women's Cross Country Relay to secure gold for the Swedish team. Anyway, just wanted to share that.
