It's not lupus! Hooray!
Doctor said that my skull is deformed but functional, my silla turca it is lower than normal, but all the soft and important parts are looking just fine! Now I just need to go to the ear doctor to check just how deaf I am and if it can be helped somehow.
I'm feeling much better, vertigo is gone, I get dizzy some days, my tinnitus is still there and my hearing loss drives me nuts on raidcall :3

I have had tinnitus for as long as I can remember - early childhood coupled with a vertigo issue which isn't bad but becomes comical (if you like slap stick humor) since I tend to fall going up and down hills (even slight inclines) and even stepping off of curbs. I think it all goes back to my childhood when I was suppose to have my adenoids taken out when I was around 12 or 13 - they never shrank like they should have - they enlarged) and while the majority of people loose theirs ( as in shrink and flatten out) .... well... But I never had the operation ( I now think it was because my parents couldn't afford it and it wasn't a life threatening issue - this was in the 60s). This also gives me a nasal quality to my speech and a slight speech impediment if I attempt to talk too fast.
But anyway - good news for you Kittly - stay strong and be well.... you are purr-fect the way you are :)

Still having a hard time here but still positive on my end.
This is great news. Now they can work on narrowing the issue down know it doesn't seem to be the brain. Even so it's still all in your head. Yeah bad joke. ;)

My only problem so far is that the vertigo/tinitus medication solves both trouble but it gives me terrible headaches because of the shape of my skull makes me suffer migraines more often than other people. Hooray ¬_¬
Be sure to discuss the migraines with your doctor - there might be an alternative medication to try. Many migraines are initiated due to allergic reactions to food, drugs, etc. So check if there is an alternative that might also work and not cause the side effect.

Ok, I'm back from the audiometry test. Long test is long, because the tech didn't just check my ears, but also my inner ears, my ear pressure, lots of test. I am indeed more deaf in the right ear than the left one, the damage seems to be in the inner ear/cochlea/nerve. I have to make an appointment with the ear doctor and see what is broken :p
It's great news to hear that it's not Lupus.. Mom has had that since I was in my early 20s and it is not an easy thing to deal with, for some people.. So glad to hear you got some good news from a Dr...that's a rarity in my world ;)
Plus, on the up-side, if your hearing is shot, then you are simply part of a large group of people with members as cool as myself! ;)
I'm happy that we seem to know where we are going with the tests. Now I need to take all these results to the ear doctor and see where we go from here.
And I'm not hard of hearing, I'm just better at ignoring reality :p
