Pops had a set back - more prayers request.

Just saw this on Facebook and thought everyone could pitch in:

Praying for Pops.

Praying for a speedy recovery.  

I actually talked to him yesterday before they pulled the tube out and he had the air issue, but they wanted to see what happened if they did remove the tube.  Will definitely pray that this works itself out because I know he's had this issue a couple of days or so.  They are also watching his heart because there was a bit of afib going on, too, but we think most of that is due to this air issue and the fact the body is trying to recover from the surgery.  Once this clears up he can go over to the cadio rehab. 

BTW, he is definitely the usual jokester through all of this despite all that is going on.  Poor guy has not had good luck with the nutrionist and probably because the kitchen sends meals with things that on his do NOT have list.  It's the little things that aren't helping, but considering it all he's doing far better than his doctor's expected even with this set back.

Get well soon, Pops. May science find the way, friend.

As Bris said.  He did sound in good spirits when we spoke.  But that was before they removed the chest tube.  I pray for him and his care givers.

I hope he does better once they fiddle with his tube a bit.  I know I would. (think about it)  I guess this was going down earlier, but just seeing this now, so time warping some prayers back that it went well.  Can't tell from Facebook, his daughter's is private.

I'm sorry to hear about this set back, he sounded to be in such good spirits on Raidcall on Friday.

Hi all.....brief update.....sore and hurting. Back again, in regular room....They never did take the chest tube out.....they inserted a second tube and are still sucking and monitoring. Lungs still leaking. I wish to thank all for your prayers and thoughts...they mean a lot. Watch what you say...I'm lurking...lol....I'm only down, not out.....well....maybe a little out....God Bless

Thanks for letting me entertain you yesterday - bad jokes and all.  Definitely have everyone praying for you and will definitely have you included in the intercessary prayer times at the women's conference I'm leaving for shortly.  You stay out of trouble until I get back Saturday afternoon.  LOL!

Spread the word.... next hospital escape attempt slated for sometime Sunday afternoon. My job is done here...personnel are trained and proficient....I can now feel 

assured that the world is in safe hands...
