I just wanted to write a little something to Our Leader Fog and the Elder's ,

I want to say Thank you for all your hard work that goes into the guild never mind this web site and the SoR site. It's nice to be able to log on and see family on even tho we may have never met personally I know if I need a hand with anything I could ask the ones on my friends list and that they can always count on me no matter what I am doing I will quit what I am doing to go assist them cause that's just the way I am. The vision that Fog has about the Great Tyrian Adventure is to help those get their Ascended items, All I can say is THANK YOU Fog and Elder's I just got all the ascended gear and upgrades for my warrior, now I start on the ranger for her gear and so on. Those items would have taken me a little longer to get (like a couple of 3 months) I have enjoyed the Events and look forward to many more with all of my brother's and sister's. I wish GSCH was in Guild Wars 1

Again Many Thanks

CaptCaveman

And if anyone needs a hand with storyline just give a shout...Really

I would like to take this opportunity to echo CaptCaveman's sentiments. I played GW1 for years and was involved with a smallish guild that played for fun with no requirements and had a great time. A few of us came into GW2 together and tried to rebuild what we had in GW1 but it just wasn't the same. I think the fact that there were so few of us and it was difficult to all be on at the same time that it just didn't work out so well.

Then I found GSCH! I must admit that I am amazed that this guild can offer that small guild feel yet be so massive. I credit that to Fog, to the group of Elders he has put together, to the commanders and group leaders that are willing to commit their time and energy to even the lowliest noob, and to each and every member (except maybe Princess Pooh! hehehe) of the guild. Thank you all.

Agreed. I came to GW2 with some WoW guildies, but none of them stayed past the first few months after release. Logging in to an empty guildchat and having to rely on the Barrens Chat-like nature of Mapchat, I started to wonder why I was still bothering to log in at all. None of the guilds on my server seemed like what I was looking for, so in a last ditch attempt to find a new home, I forked over the gems and transferred to SoR and applied to Gaiscioch.

Gaiscioch has exceeded my wildest expectations. It's given me not only a place to call home in GW2, but a family to explore other games with.

I'm particularly grateful for the Great Tyrian Adventure series. It's the one event I can join without feeling like my hearing impairment is holding the group back if I can't hear what's being said in Raidcall (or alternatively, if I'm concentrating on hearing Raidcall, and run off a cliff and die because I can't hear and play simultaneously - I have to choose one or the other due to the degree of effort required). Tuesday nights have become one of the highlights of my week.

So a big thank-you to Fog and the Elders for all their hard work and dedication, and for giving us all a place to call home.

SlyBerditzmen your so right about GW1 most of the guilds were small and the ones that were large enough to have a town under their control had to work hard to maintain faction and demand a certain amount daily from each member it took the fun out of the game, What I do miss from GW1 is that you were able to and a 2nd profession and which it to what ever you needed to go into mission, the teaming was different you only had anywhere from 4 to 8 people unless it was an elite mission then you had 12 and everyone had a duty Monks to heal Warrior's to take frontline and caster's to hang back rain havoc and the foes. GW2 is way better in most ways, I personally would like to see guild halls back but with a real hall feel not like its outside and everyone is just outdoors. Joining GSCH was the best thing I've done to date in-game of course... it's like my favorite quote "There are no real strangers in the world just friends I haven't met yet" And I look forward to Jan when the New Adventure Begins..

Take care my friends

And Again many many Thanks to Fog, The Elder's and Commander's for their dedication patience specially with me...just kidding with everyone
