Fog out for the next couple days

He is pretty sick and has Vertigo, so we are likely going to cancel Great Tyrian Adventure this week. 

Hope you get well soon Ben. I get vertigo in high places, it makes me feel sick.  I would not wish that feeling on anyone. Take care :)

This is some messed up illness. Dont feel right  at all. Cant even walk or sit up.

Naay...  sounds like inner ear to me also - with those symptoms.   Get it checked out Fog - inner ear is nothing to mess with!

Yeah sounds like something with the inner ear.  That would be the first bet.  Lots of things can cause an inner ear issue, so get it checked out and I'll be praying it is one of the simple things.  =)

Doctor said it was from a calcium crystal breaking loose in my inner ear. He gave me some pills for the nausia and said it should go away in a few days. May go to a specialist if it doesnt get better today. Feeling a bit better but its still noticable.

Got back from specialist and he said the vertigo was caused by acute labrythitis. My flu the week before my trip to Atlanta and the shift in air pressure may have encouraged it. They gave me a weeks worth of mini xanex pills to take that he says should make me functional. Dont think ill be around till this weekend though. Miss you all. I can tell ya I wouldnt wish this on anyone. It sucks. I miss you all and cant wait to get back in game.

Oh my! I know how it feels. I had something similar. Doctors thought it was food poisoning or I was really drunk, but I just had a few glasses of beer. It was a week of walking funny and feeling like about to fall down all the time. It was specially bad at night.

Get well soon Fog! This too shall pass and you will be good as new! :D

Well, I'm glad it wasn't too critical.   Airplane rides mess with inner ears something terrible - most people just don't notice it but I am rather sensitive to it and actually wear ear plugs on take off and landing to alleviate most of the issues.  Between the ear plugs and taking a sinus tab about 30 mins. before take-off to dry up my canals I feel a whole lot better now about flying - and feel significantly better after I fly.

Glad you saw a specialist and that it's something that can be resolved fairly easily. Feel better soon!

Day by day I get litlle by little better. My guess id I wont be able to handle gaming till this weekend. If someone is willing to run thursday that would be great. Hope to be back upright by season 1.

Prissi will be running tuatha I can probibly dj and hang out with everyone. Jessica and spartan will ne assisting

I was joking about Jes - I know she really didn't volunteer although I would gladly follow her.  I'm happy you are well enough to hang with us and play some tunes.   Thursday nights just aren't the same with out some Club Gaiscioch!  :)

 Hope you feel 100% better soon Fog.  Residual vertigo is not too uncommon with Labrinthitis and tends to cling to people for a couple weeks. Sometimes doing balancing exercizes that a doc can tell you about can help with vertigo thus helping with the nausea and such. Good Luck.
