Found a little treasure that could be yours

I found a small dog scared, shivering and docile along a less traveled road. The poor little thing looked like he had been neglected for some time. He let me take him without a fuss, and could tell he needed some TLC, which included a de ticking and a tick bath. After about 3 baths and an hour of finding ticks he is starting to look much better, and now is getting an appetite and catching up on some much needed sleep. This dog is such a loyal and thankful creature that what was perhaps a temporary home may become permanent if I don't find him a home fast. I have a thing for non assuming creatures that only want a little love and attention. I found a little treasure that is currently enjoying himself on my lap resting peacefully. I may still give him up to a good family as this treasure has bad timing as me and my wife have both gone back to school while working full time and raising three little boys. If you live in the Phoenix or southwest portion of Arizona or South Eastern part of NM and want a perfect little lap dog whom I think is a mutt of some sort, maybe part chihuahua and something else. He seems to not require much activity and would fit into a relaxed environment very well, though he seems to adjust to my high energy kids just fine, he just sits there while they pet him. He has yet to bark and is house trained, so he seems to be a non annoying type of small dog which IMO is the best kind. He weighs about five pounds I believe and is likely about five to seven years old though it is difficult to tell with him having been neglected for some time. I will check this thread twice a day to see if any Gaiscioch family wants him. If I get no interest here I will turn to other methods and hopefully find a good home for him.
