Gaming with RaidCall

I'll preface this by mentioning that I don't have much of a gaming setup due to being a pretty casual gamer.  When I'm playing GW2 with the Family and we're using RaidCall I've found that I need to use the "push to talk" feature or my sound quality deteriorates pretty badly on free talk but I really hate having to reach over and constantly push a button on my keyboard to talk, especially when we're in the middle of combat....

So, here's the question -- how do I get around this? Get one of those foot pedals that connects by USB and program it? Get a programmable gaming mouse?  What do YOU use?

I use middle mouse button aka the scroll wheel button.

My push to talk is F2. It works pretty well for me, since it's pretty close to W on the keyboard. I also have long, piano playing fingers...

I also use F2 although I don't talk very often. The mouse wheel combined with my FFS (Fat Finger Syndrome) means I might be sending something over the airwaves unintentionally. I am bad enough about sending what should have been whispers out to a public channel :)

I use one of the 18 side buttons on my keyboard

I use the hardest to reach button on my G700. A mouse with at least more than 4 buttons is mandatory to play any games for me. I'd rather not have to touch the keyboard unless I'm chatting.
