Charity and cheap games

If you'd like some very inexpensive games, head over to www.humblebundle.com. The Deep Silver bundle going on now has Steam game keys for Saints Row:the Third, Saints Row 2, Risen 2, and Sacred 2 Gold for a $1.00 or more, add Dead Island-GOTY and all the DLC for Saints Row:the Third for $5.00 or more, and includes Dead Island Riptide for $25.00 or more (plus Soundtracks for some games). It's basically pay what you want and you get to choose how much goes to the Charity, the publisher, and the Humble Bundle site itself.

Just create an account and after your purchase is confirmed, you'll get an email with a link to your account page. The Steam keys are right there(just copy/paste into the Activate Games on Steam.) and start downloading. The game soundtracks are on that page also.

It's a great way to get some games on the cheap while helping out a Charity (the Red Cross or Child's Play)

Also, check out their weekly sales. This weeks is 3 games each from the King's Bounty and Men of War series for around $3.50

That's about $230 worth of games and soundtracks now, according to the site. Keep an eye out for another addition, they like to add stuff the last couple of days of their sales. Hello there, it's me again. Honestly, I'm not a shill for this site. I just like cheap games(yeah, I'm kind of a cheapskate) and the fact that the money goes to charity makes these bundles hard to resist.

This week's Humble Bundle is from EA/Origin. Some games have keys for both Steam and Origin, others just Origin(I know, I know). I'll try and give you a rundown of which Keys you get. It is pay what you want for Dead Space(Both), Dead Space 3(Origin only), Burnout Paradise(Both), Crysis 2(Both), Mirror’s Edge(Both), and Medal of Honor(Both). Paying more than the average (roughly $5) unlocks Battlefield 3(Origin) and The Sims 3 with some DLC(Origin). This week all of EA’s share goes to charity, you can choose which of five charities(or all) you wish the proceeds go to.

Also, they tend to add a game or two as the sale goes on. Just head over to www.humblebundle.com if you're interested.

A word of warning. The Sims 3 starter pack is a royal pain to install on Origin and not available on Steam :c
