A kickstarter for the PC interpretation of the turn-based tactical miniature wargame Warmachine has just been announced on Kickstarter if anyone is interested. I'm a huge fan of Privateer Press' miniatures (never played their table top games though) and Turn-Based Tactical (XCOM/Jagged Alliance) PC Games. I don't think they will have any drama getting funded, but I backed them to get a cheap digital copy of the game at $20 and to give them support to get them over the line.
Warmachine is a great game, i've played it for years. Its nice to see they are doing a turn based game, that can actually be played via email as well as real time, instead of an RTS like starcraft. in my opinion there really isn't any strategy in an RTS other then who can click/build faster.
I agree Maegor. I've been a fan of Turn-Based Tactical games since the original XCOM/UFO/Fallout/Jagged Alliance days, I really wish Games Workshop would do one for Necromunda and 40k too. Apparently there is a TBT Spacehulk game currently in development, but I think Spacehulk can get a bit monotonous after a few games. TBT games are great single player games, especially if they have a good ip or story behind it, very much like an RPG but more interesting combat.
