well 3 days after a massive flooding in my house were the water was ankle deep in some area's of my living area. my place is now livable once again. all my electronics are now back in place and operational. this was so bad I had to miss 3 days of work just to clean it all up. and used much of my computer build savings to do it. -.- so i'm set back in at least a month in gathering the pieces. but it works out in the end.
Yes, it does. As a resident of Monmouth County, NJ. I can tell you it is. Make sure you have you dehumidifier going. May want to check for mold as well, being proactive is best when dealing with these things.
I have 3 running. and thankfully we took extra steps to prevent mold early on

Glad you are doing well and getting things back in order. I have a good idea what you went through since my area was one of the hard hit ones two summers ago when Irene came along. I just lucked out that I lived on the right side of a mountain, but the little town our church was in still has several boarded up and empty buildings on its main street. I know my husband spent a lot of time over there helping the church keep food and supplies coming in and going out to people in the area. I know the local police even looked the other way for people living in condemned homes instead of forcing them out. Rather they made sure the family was doing okay and seeing what could be done. Crazy stuff for a small town, worse for cities I am sure.

Bummer man! My heart goes out to you. Fortunately I have never had to deal with that kind of mess. I live pretty high and dry and on sandy soil so don't think I will ever have to.
