Epiphany about movies

I have Direct TV and the last 2 weekends they offered free HBO and Showtime all weekend long. I don't watch a lot of tv, so I use these free weekends to fill up the dvr with movies I can watch later. A lot of the movies I have never heard of so I just record them and delete them if they are bad. Anyway, after perusing through the saved movies I realized that most (but not all) of the movies that ended up being awful had one thing in common. They all had a colon in the title. Yes those innocent little two dots are the best hint that a movie is going to suck. Try it for yourself and you will see what I mean.

Grab some Rifftrax and watch them that way. It'll be more entertaining. :D

I have Netflix and Amazon Prime (and this is not a personal endorsement of either of those two medias) and I watch a lot of movies and old TV shows.  So - with that stated, I am going to consider what you have said and watch for those two little dots when I give my ratings :) and peruse those others have rated.
