The 4pm time scheduling is so disappointing for these. I have friends in the PST zone that are not home from work to participate. And with me living in Pan Asia (Hong Kong) it is too early to ever take part in these. When they used to be later in the PST eve, they were much more accessible to more of us.
There is a make up event on Saturdays at 1:30 server if that's better. :)
Pelindor, Unfortunately 4PM is the only time i CAN run these. I run the IT Dept for a media company and run my own side business. Plus I have a wife and daughter. Just like I can't expect you to cut out of work early to make a guild event you can't expect me to do the same. Once we have all of the missions unlocked I will be allowing other commanders to organize them. However realize for these to be successful you need at least 20 people. At 4PM I barely get 20. I can't imagine what it would be like late night when population is way down. Right now we're just doing them for the Merits to be able to unlock the next type. Once we get Puzzles unlocked in all 4 rooms then we can just do them for fun and not worry about what we complete each week.
Plus, until the 8th, we won't have a good idea of how population will be around the clock. Right now, I can guarantee that there are not enough people for late-night/Oceanic guild missions, especially since they are spread out across 3 home guilds right now. Believe me, I've been trying to figure out stuff for us late-night/Oceanics to do, especially since Mega-boss events were taken away from us with the 25 person requirement for participation claiming. We just do not have the active numbers right now for "Elder event" type of stuff. I know that not getting Guild Commendations suck, but try to bear with us until Fog releases some of the restrictions on the Missions. He's mapped out the fastest way for all of the rooms to unlock everything they need and it just takes some time and patience.
I think like everything, times can't work for everyone. For me the 4pm time works great, it is later events that I cannot attend. Once the missions are all unlocked and other commanders can lead at different time and we get the guild merging to happen, there should be more opportunities for all.
I love guild missions, treks mainly. But at 4pm PDT I have to pick up my kids at school so there is no way I can rearrange my schedule to assist. Events at and after 6pm PDT are perfect for me. Saturdays are not always an option for me either. For some reason I thought that when the guild missions were changed to 4pm there was not enough people.
We have plenty of people at 4PM to complete them. 2 teams of 10 is what we need for bounty 1's. Bounty 2 would require 3 teams of 10. I can't host events every days at 6pm unless i want another divorce on my record. That just can't be done. I have to host them before my wife gets off work and be done by the time she gets home so i can devote my time to family. Once we unlock Puzzles we'll be able to get some more commanders hosting these but right now we are focused on getting the job done and not wasting influence we need to unlock them.
