ELLAENA IS A CUTE NAME. >___> *cough* So is Noodles, and if it were a boy I would vote Calcifer.

She is SOOOO cute!!!! I'd name her Lyra. It means: The name of the constellation in the northern sky containing the star Vega. It is said to be shaped after the lyre of Orpheus.

Tsugi. It means Patches in Japanese. She is so cute. :-D I want to hold her so bad LOL.

I like Kadi's idea, though Patches in English is cute too! So many choices! >:D Her colors remind me of cookies an cream ice cream, the same coloration of my friend's very old cat. They named her Cookie :D Scoot is also a cute name <3 I love animals but I can't have my own pets, so I have a bunch of names lined up that I like... hehehehe

First two names that came to mind instantly were Oreo or Patches. I will keep thinking though! :)

D'awwww! She's adorabibbles. I'm horrible at pet-naming for other people, as mine are always based on specific context (the rooftop rescue named "Tevye", the one who was rescued after being hit by a car and named "Speedbump", etc). She looks like quite the avid little typist. I'd probably name her Qwerty.

Anyone else disappointed this isn't a contest to name an actual child?

I totally expected to see a picture of a baby goat.... lol This was a much more pleasant surprise.... I would even go as far as to say a precious surprise..... So my vote is "precious"

lol my first thought was patches. I think we have a winner - not sure what it would be in celtic - but i like patches

She is so cute! No clue what to name her though...

After naming many cats, I'll offer this little tidbit of advice... Make sure the name is easy to say, and say many times in quick succession. 9 times out of 10, you'll be using the name to call her, and there's nothing worse than finding yourself perpetually tongue tied when you make the attempt, and having to resort to the default "puss,puss,puss" (in which case you might as well just name her Puss). It's also handy if the name isn't too embarrassing, as you can guarantee that sooner or later you'll be calling it out in the street for all to hear at 1am in the morning in a vain attempt to get her back inside.

Celti (kel-tea) Celtic kittah, of DOOM! If that fails... name her Maw, i mean it's an amazing name after all.

Aww, she looks like she could have been a sister to my cat, Ashe, who passed away last winter. He loved "helping" me at the computer. He got the name Ashe because not only was he gray and white, he was the ultimate fraidy cat. Think movie reference here. ::chuckles:: Think Smart, Shop S-mart. HA! My black and white cat who only blocks my screen when he wants something is named Scarecrow and he thinks he is the King! No, he knows it, however, he does know the Queen Mother is really in charge no matter what he tries. ;) He got named that because we got him in the fall and he was a stray in the street a co-worker's wife almost ran over. Since it turned out they were not cat people, I adopted him. =) The ex wanted to call him scarface due to the white streak on his nose. =P Glad I didn't, once his baby fur was gone and his markings came in full he has more white there. Though I do have some scars from him because he does have attitude. Even our blind 120 pound dog knows to get out of the way of him though the cat has never touched him. So as you can see I name cats based on looks and personality and somewhat based upon when I adopted them. I think Patches is one of the good choices. Not sure about it in Irish though. ::chuckles:: I bet even her typing is patchy or gets your character quickly into bad patches. ;)

I am blinded by teh Epic Cuteness. Name her Epic :)

I am horrible with animal names. We got 2 cats once and we ended up calling them Big Kitty and Little Kitty lol. The only reason the cat we have now has a name is cause it came with it and it suited him. It's an Ocicat named Ozzie and the hubs loves Ozzy too so we kept it. I think someone mentioned the name storm but I think Stormy is kinda cute or maybe Pepper.

Phoenix, cos her mum died and she lived on. You can shorten it to Nixy when you call her :P (Other than that, we took a poll and Hex is a fantastic name!)
