A moment of Respect and Thanks

I'd Personally like to extend a huge thanks to Fog.  His hard work and dedication to the family is beyond remarkable.  His unending patience, and awesomeness in general. 

Fog Has done an excellent, but, difficult job of moving the family as best as possible to a different game, and utilizing a new VOIP program.  This task is nothing but a huge task and a lot of it placed squarely and wholely on his shoulders. 

I'd like to have everybody take a moment and think about how much of a task he has done.  This is a man who has 4,000 people who look at him on a daily basis for direction and a sense of what to do.  He takes it on with a smile. 

So Fog, sir, I personally salute you and am thankfull to have you call me friend as much as I call you friend.

I would like to say... Fog, you have done an amazing job. In my opinion, it is very organized. The events I have participated in were fun, organized and informative. A big thank you to All. =) Thanks for all you do. ~Des~

Fog these words are felt by each and every one of us. Thank you for your tireless dedication not only to the family as a whole but to each individual within it.

I don't know how you do it all, Fog, but seeing this family grow and prosper makes me glad you take the time for it and help others contribute as well.

AYE! I'm new to the Family, though I have been involved in running a smaller "family" of guildies since 96... I know what a chore it is. Fog is a most excellent leader on the field (ran in his event last thursday, good times!) and behind the scenes. Taking time and having patience with the new members is quite a quality. Keep up the awesome work! Barkeep, a keg of your finest for Fog!

As a new family member, I am really impressed by the dedication of the leadership, elders, and the family (community). I appreciate all the hard work folks put in to the leading events, web-site work, and kindness shown to new guildies. You have my respect and appreciation.

Thank you everyone, it's nice to hear it sometimes. Thanks Bloodmaw for posting this. While this family is huge, it's still a family. It reminds me a lot of my family. While I only have 1 sister, my grandfather had 11 sisters and 2 brothers which means I have a WHOLE lot of family at our reunions. There's usually about 200 of us when we get together. About the size of most Gaiscioch public events :D. I know things aren't as smooth as they could be, but we're working on them and in time trouble spots will be smoothed and all will be running smoothly. There's still a lot of Tech we're waiting for in game, like the bridge between game and fan sites. ATM there is no data feed, no downloadable information, no way at all to sync game to site. Which means a lot of manual updating. Just hang in there and know that this too shall pass and all will be right in the end. We're going somewhere fast, and it's exciting. It's going to be chaotic for a while but I find the more chaos we experience the stronger our bond as a family. Just keep on goin and do what you can. Things will get better.

Good work Bloodmaw for starting this thread. I think in all our excitement we all forgot to give thanks to those that made all of this possible. In such a large family it can sometimes be taken for granted all the work that goes into managing all of this, Ben, your time management skills are godlike. Thank you for making this all possible and a big thank you to the elders and everyone else who continue to help keep the guild such a big happy family.

I work in IT (networking to be exact) and have a bit of experience in how difficult all of this can be to pull all of this information together so I salute you for all of the hard work you have put into this site and more importantly the leading of a great guild like this. Thank you for the work and effort you put into this.

I loved that even though the guild is quite large, the invite to the join had a personal touch. I also appreciate the amount of effort Fog and the elders have put forth to keep the guild alive and cohesive since the launch of GW2. You can tell from listening to Raidcall that these people know what they're doing and enjoy each others company. Finally, I was in a WvWvW event a few days ago, this time with Fog as leader. Intrigued, I followed his blue icon around the map as part of his team and I was very proud to be a part of it. No Zerg, all well thought out plans done considerately. Proud to serve! /salute
