Brothers and Sisters,
As most of us toil throughout Tyria and Telara, fighting dragons and waging war, we do so with the majority of physical faculties intact - for this we are blessed, and should not take that blessing for granted. Meanwhile, the wee lad Master Tristan of Portland enters daily into a different kind of fight - a fight of, quite literally, vital import. The young man has need of a kidney, and that right soon. We of Gaischioch have heard the warhorn of this young squire, and our leader has called and challenged us to rally to his aid and help Tristan conquer his infirmity.
The Gaischioch banner spreads wide and our family is benevolent and powerful, thus assisting him in his time of need is well within our collective capabilities. We have performed valiantly so far in gathering pledges to help the lad, but the true might and strength of Gaiscioch has yet to be seen, and the sun is starting to set.
Every fortune is but a few pence multiplied over and lumped together. So, too, can our efforts be for Tristan. Some of us find ourselves unable to contribute financially. Others are graced with the ability to toss in a shilling or two. Others still are blessed to donate sums significantly larger. None find themselves incapable of answering the call, though, for we are Gaischioch! If pennies are sparse, then lend him your thoughts, prayers, and encouragements. Or consider telling someone you know about his story and asking them to donate! For those of you able to sacrifice a silver piece or two, please do so today! No cup of cool water given to those in need ever goes wasted.
When Gaischioch takes up its arms and stands together as a family there is no obstacle that cannot be overcome, no foe that shall not fall.
