E3 2012: What are you excited about so far?

First thing I wanted to mention was a very impressive tech demo Square-Enix had yesterday. What made it impressive was that it was being rendered in REAL TIME!!! Next generation games are going to be amazing to play.  Just wanted to share.  Other things I found great from E3 was watching The Last of Us, Watch Dogs, Beyond: Two Souls and all of the Assassin's Creed III footage.  Here are some links...

Splinter Cell: Blacklist Assassins Creed III WarFace RIFT: Storm Legion Guild Wars 2

Same as Fog.. Especially for Assassins Creed III, I haven't played any of the other Assassin's Creed games but this one really caught my eye. Splinter Cell, Warface, RIFT: Storm Legion all look really good.

Storm Legion has me excited, and of course Guild Wars 2! Outside of that I can't really say I'm too hyped. The Last of Us has me curious just because I'm a huge Uncharted fan, but I doubt I'd have enough time to play it (I'm guilty of only being halfway through Uncharted 3...).

I thought E3 was mainly just console games. IE no GW2.

Nope it's all games. Trion did a livestream from E3 today showing off new expansion content, for example. Just found out that Dance Central 3 was announced at E3! I'm an enormous Harmonix fan ever since Guitar Hero 2, so I'm looking forward to see what they can introduce into their motion game series!

As an old Transformers fan, the greatest news from E3 for me is that High Moon Studios relented and will be bringing Fall of Cybertron to a PC format (dances for joy). After the extreme disappointment of the Michael Bay movies, War for Cybertron gave me reason to get excited about Transformers again with fantastic character designs and respect for the source material. The upcoming sequel Fall of Cybertron looks to be continuing this trend with a vengeance - Dinobots, Insecticons, Combaticons, Metroplex, and the first level looks to even put you in the midst of the most pivotal moment in Transformers history.
