I just started playing TL2 beta; I must say it is a very entertaining hack and slay rpg. It has that oldschool game feeling :P

I would like to play it - how do you sign up for it?
I'm in the beta, but haven't had a lot of time to try it yet. So far I'm happy they stayed true to the first one, while still making some improvements.
I enjoy TL2 more than D3, it has that comical feeling to it. I was running around today with a ships cannon as my ranged weapon and two wolverine claws as my melee set. It's good fun and different enough from D3 that I would probably look at playing both. I'm not sure if you can still register for Beta Mij but go to http://www.torchlight2game.com/ if you feel like digging around. I've been a lurking member of the TL community since before the first one came out so I didn't even register for the beta, I just got picked from what I can figure out.
I played the beta yesterday for an hour or so. Not quite sure how I feel about it yet. You run way too fast compared to the first one, which is my big gripe with it. Other than that, it's not too bad. So far I still like the first one better. One good thing is that TL2 has multiplayer, with what looks like up to 6 people total, which should make it really interesting. And I like it that my rather horrible computer can play it at high settings.
