For anyone that may be interested in table top roleplaying games in an MMO setting, Ryan Dancey and Lisa Stevens are putting together a Sandbox MMO based in the Pathfinder campaign setting. Pathfinder Online is a hybrid sandbox/theme park-style MMO where characters explore, develop, find adventure and dominate a wilderness frontier in a land of sword and sorcery. The Pathfinder world is high fantasy in the tradition of epics like The Lord of the Rings, Conan, The Wheel of Time and Game of Thrones.
I know the family has our hearts set on Guild Wars 2 and Rift, but I felt the need to share this as I consider the Pathfinder Online project to be something that may throw the MMO genre on its head. That is if it gets off the ground. I've just pledged $75 to the cause and hope they succeed in bringing this idea to reality.
