For snowfall here in anchorage, we got the needed snowfall yesterday to make the huge mess worthwhile.

At least the temp has been warm enough to continue the melting.

Well, that is impressive. I remember my time in Alaska back in the late 80's. Though I did not spend a whole winter there, I know they did not have that much snow at all. I was impressed by the amount of ice around though. ::chuckles::

I heard that on the news, crazy amounts! Compared to Wyoming we didn't get hardly any snow this year.

I went skiing today in Utah. Skied as much as I wanted then put on a t shirt and sat poolside. Weird climate.... 30's in early morning and then 75 by 3 0 and about 25ish Celsius if im correct

Cool, we seem to have record snowfall here in Seward as well this year.

I know that Valdez got hit really hard as well. It's just been an insane snowfall year. Also very happy to see another Alaskan! :)

It sure is! I think there were records all over south central. I recently moved here from Anchorage, and I've been told this has been the first winter in a many years that there hasn't been much rain at all. Cordova too I think had a record.
