Yesterday was spent at the emergency room yet again. This time Dad fell and broke his C2 vertebrae. He was lucky about 5 years ago with a complete recovery from a similar injury so we have hope for the best. Heading out to drive Mom there this morning. I think its best to be there to talk with the doctors whenever possible. Your positive thoughts are appreciated. It will help, trust me. Thank you all.

Thank you all so much. Today has been a great day! No evidence of stroke. Arm, leg, and rib x-rays good. And the c2 fracture has been revised to be just the welcome caution of a careful radiologist. So not even a soft collar, much less a halo like last time. This is an honest to God miracle. We still don't know why he passed out and fell yet, but I am not inclined to be greedy after todays events. So thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers!

Sorry to hear about your Father Nay, I am so glad that you got some positive news also. I know that prayers of others helps us out in our time of need. The Family prayers have helped me also. I just hope and pray that the Dr's in his care practice healing waves on his body.
They did a number of additional tests but could not determine "why" he passed out and fell. Probably the high potassium that sometimes happens, even with the dialysis three days a week. We brought him home yesterday from the hospital. His grand-daughters volunteered to drive him for dialysis today, so I will bow out and take a break today. Thanks again for all the support, my family and I appreciate it.
