News from: Tamriel Foundry

Today, ZeniMax Online Studios confirmed two major transitions for Elder Scrolls Online coming in the next several months. First, the long awaited ESO console launch has been scheduled for June 9th, 2015 for both Xbox One and PS4. Secondly, this heralds the major announcement of Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited , a buy-to-play version of the game with the accompanying ESO Plus […]

I'm so so so excited for all the changes.

I'm a little concerned how the PS4, Xbox and of course PC all have their own servers and how that will effect our guild.

I especially enjoyed the video of the various mounts we can see coming in the future. The other costumes and we can have and not have to worry about them taking up bank/backpack spots.

They said that anything and everything you buy from the Crown store will  not be better then what can be found or made in the game.  They will have potions and repair kits that can be purchased with crowns however they will be weaker then those bought from vendors or what can be made from players.

There is just so much to look forward to.... I feel like a  kid at Christmas waiting to open my presents.

Simply stated they had to switch to a B2P F2P content. They were losing players faster than anyone ever imagined would happen.  Their lack of response to major game play issues, and snail like release of "new content" disappointed many players to the point they left the game.  I was one. The game had great promise, but I could not justify a subscription fee to only feel frustrated and ignored by the development team.

Perhaps this will save the game, but unless there is some real focus on the issues of the game I doubt that even the F2P model will save it at this point in time.
