Dead Computer

So yeah. Title. And right at the end of a vet dungeon. Something is seriously against me finishing a vet dungeon again. Not sure how long I will be out of game. Sorry.

Thankfully my wife is letting me put ESO on her computer. Hopefully it will be done downloading some time tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your system but at least your wife was willing to throw ya a rope.

My PC's been crashing often lately and then refuses to start up right, So I open it up and knock on the hard disk until it starts working again. :D 

Jeff, sounds like you need a new hard drive.  Have actually done a full diagnostic on it to see if it has bad sectors.  My HD did a slow death to the point we could not figure out if it was the HD or something else for a good month because of what it was doing.  Anyway, new HD and the old clunker is still playing ESO fine.  If anything slows me down in this game now it's something with the PC being old because I have fiber in my house since August.

That's a bummer man! Rest assured though; another brave GSCH member stepped up to fill your shoes and we eventually got that gold key (thanks Borah!)

I got the Engine Guardian helm too! ...but its heavy...and well-fitted. At least is looks cool :)

Glad to hear you guys got it done and you got a helm!  All I saw was me charging in on the spider.  Then some flickers on the screen and bad noises and then nothing.  Figured out it was the video card so I ordered a new one from Newegg.  Plus its an upgrade.  Should be here in a few days, but in the meantime my wife, being the awesome gal she is, is letting me play on her laptop.

Scared to try more vet dungeons though. I am 2 for 2 on something bad happening right at a clutch moment.  Kind of a bummer really.

Hey, great excuse to upgrade! I could really use some new hardware myself...

Don't feel bad about the issues either. Both times were out of our control so there is no need for any guilt or hard feelings.
