ESO Marketplace Updates

This is the thread where you will post items to be added to the Marketplace.  Please provide the following in the info of new items (NOTE: not all listed will be applicable to all items):

• Name
• Level
• item type - potion, sword, trait stone, style/racial stone
• Crafter class - provisioning, clothier, etc
• stats - including all the details from the pop up window 
• color
• and any other information off the tool tip box that pops up for the item

I might have missed something but those 6 are the primary things I can think of.

Do not add enhanced armor - only add info for the white version if it is not listed.  I know some things stop at VR10, some are up to VR12.

I'm thinking we can gather some info and then find a way to lump it up now and then in a spreadsheet for Fog once we are sure the info is confirmed.  We'll kind of play this by ear based on how much stuff is being added here and do our best not to drive Fog off the deep end with too much at once.  He already leads us off cliffs enough as it is!  LOL!

"The new trait for both armor and weapons is "Nirnhorned".  The mat to make it is very rare, can be purchased for 7-16k gold.

Recipes could be requested by Provisioning skill level and effect, rather than specific recipe (there are too many and it will change in 1.6), eg. level 5 purple food, or level 3 blue magica and health regen drink.  Blue 'Discovery' menu would have two dropdowns with magicka, stamina, and health listed.  In-game cost of blue recipes is inverse, level 6 go for 27-150 gold, level 1-2 go for 300-2500 gold.  Purple recipe costs are also inverted, level 5-6 food around 5k gold, level 3 around 25k gold, drink recipes are less expensive."

There are two types of Nirncrux (the trait stone for making Nirnhorned items, Fortified (for armour) and Potent (for weapons).  These trait stones should be added to the marketplace along with expanding the drop down menu, for ordering armor and weapons, to include 'Nirnhorned' as a trait.  Current in-game sales for Fortified Nirncrux run 7-13k gold, for Potent Nirncrux 10-18k gold.  FVC costs should reflect this.

It is materials used in crafting and crafted materials only.  =)  That is all Fog usually sets these up for and at this time I'm thinking we keep it simple and flesh out what is missing as best we can without making Fog's head spin with too much at once. 

Let me try to reformat my suggestions.

1-under 'general store/gem' add 'Potent Nirncrux', 0 level and skill, cost ~1500 fvc

2-under 'General Store/Gem' add 'Fortified Nirncrux', 0 level and skill, cost ~1000 fvc

3-under 'Blacksmithing, Clothing, and Woodworking' add 'trait-Nirnhorned' for all weapon and armor selections, fvc cost would reflect above costs (or perhaps allow requester supplied trait stone).

4-under 'Provisioning/Food' delete all, replace all 'green' recipes with 'green' level 1, 5, 10, 15...VR5 add Staminia, add Magicka, and add Health-one of each for each level.

5-under 'Provisioning/Drink' delete all, replace all 'green' recipes with 'green' level 1, 5, 10, 15...VR5 Staminia regen, Magicka regen, and Health regen-one of each for each level.

6-under 'Provisioning/Food' replace all blue with 'blue' level 10, 15, 20...VR5 add Staminia/Magicka, add Stamina/Health, and add Magicka/Health-one of each for each level.

7-under 'Provisioning/Drink' replace all blue with 'blue' level 10, 15, 20...VR5 Staminia/Magicka regen, Stamina/Health regen, and Magicka/Health regen-one of each for each level.

8-replace all purple food and drink recipies with level 35, 40, 45, 50, and VR5 food and drink

Feel free to offer differing suggestions or improvements to the preceding.

Fog, I hope this is an “easy” fix and does not require extensive coding on your part, thank you for demonstrating your continued support of Our ESO Chapter.

Verve, when it comes to the marketplace there is no easy fix. It's a huge balancing act. Every time they rebuild a crafting system it wrecks havoc on me and requires me to rebuild portiins. For the trait I shou be able to wiki it to get the info I need.

for future reference what I need is the informotion on the tool tip and in the weapon / armor details. Along with any crafting level requirements.

They keep talking about making Provisioning different, but haven't found the real details on this yet.

As for the nirnhoned stuff that is just another style item to add and well, I think the marketplace is based on vendor prices (what they buy the item for if anything) rather than the fluctuating player market.  Though I know Nirnhoned stuff only comes out of Craglorn, VR11-14 zones and isn't overly common so it really should cost more.

They're taking out the vast majority of provisioning ingredients. There should be 50 after the patch. All recipes will be nuked and I will build the system around the new recipe flow. Materials will be on tiers and effects will be predictable. It's going to be a monstrous rebuild and is likely going to take me about 30 hours to fix. So it wont be up day of. It will be a few weeks before I get it in working order.

Fog, quite a few of us are planning on heading to the PTS.  We can try and get as much info as the new recipes as possible and maybe (no clue about the coding aspect of this) you can sort of pre-stage the new stuff.  At the very least it might help to spread that 30 hours out ahead of time.

Problem with building data off PTS is that things change. If you remember the original Provisioning, they changed it the week before they deployed it. We prefer to use live data only.

Actually Provisioning wasn't changed last minute on this game.  It's the same as the PTS for 3 months prior, but yeah they overhauled ALL crafting and didn't see any of it the way it is know until a Christmas PTS release and then we tweaked it.  

But all things need to be based on Live for any game ever again so the programming is right.  That's why going forward we are programming after it is live and the Seed is going to turn into a Chapter.  It will save Fog a LOT of time.

So what I'll do is see what PTS does, then verify it ends up that way in Live and then give Fog the info.
